Our Timeline
The Beginning
In 1993, Manuel and Ana Sarmiento, a young couple from San Antonio, decided to chase their dreams despite having a young son and a mortgage. With a vision to help their local community explore nearby vacation spots, they founded OK TOURS. Starting with just a single charter bus, the couple was determined to make a mark in the travel industry.
Our First Adventures
Our first major venture outside Texas was a trip to Louisiana in 1995. It was a thrilling experience that marked the beginning of our long journeys across North America. By 1999, we had expanded our services to include trips to Texas, California, and Nevada.
Growing and Evolving
Over the years, we’ve continued to grow. In 2005, we added trips to Cowboys football games, making sports travel a popular part of our offerings. By 2013, we had upgraded our fleet to state-of-the-art motorcoaches, ensuring our customers travel in ultimate comfort and style.
Modernizing and Expanding
In 2016, we integrated advanced technology into our fleet, offering free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and power outlets at every seat. Two years later, we broke ground on a new headquarters in downtown San Antonio, providing a fresh, modern space for our operations and customer service.
